Visiting a new church has its challenges and we know it can be overwhelming sometimes to find a place where you fit in. While we take God's Word very seriously, our dress and atmosphere is more casual, so please feel free to come and be comfortable.
The first thirty minutes or so of our service is spent in worship to God. You will find us singing praise and worship songs, or reciting scripture or even being quiet for a time in order to listen to the Holy Spirit speak to us.
After this time of worship we greet one another and listen to a few announcements. On the first Sunday of the month we celebrate the Lord's Supper (Communion) together during the service. Then, our children are dismissed to Kingdom Kids downstairs and we listen to one of our pastors share a teaching. Finally, there is a time for prayer, called ministry time. Several of our members have been trained to pray for others and will be asked to pray for those who respond to prayer up at the front of the church. If you need prayer for anything, please don't hesitate to step forward and one of our team members would be happy to pray for you.
We dismiss shortly after ministry time has begun and the children are released from their Kingdom Kids classes. Parents are asked to pick up their children in their classrooms. If you have any questions please ask a greeter or one of our pastors, or fill out a Connection Card on our Home page or on our OneChurch app. We look forward to getting to know you!
If you are a newcomer you are invited to our monthly Newcomer's Lunch with the Pastors. We share a meal on the last Sunday of the month and talk about the Church, our history, theology and answer any questions you might have. Childcare for children ages birth to three is available.
Fill out a Connection Card and someone will contact you in a day or two.
Alpha is an opportunity to explore life’s big questions together in an open, informal environment. Together we engage with videos (talks) which unpack the basics of the Christian faith, addressing questions such as Who is Jesus?, How can we have faith? and How does God guide us? Each talk looks at a different question around faith and is designed to spark conversation which will be guided by hosts and helpers from the church. This fun 10 week class includes dessert, coffee, tea and new friendships! A new group starts in January 2022, so fill out a Connection Card if you'd like more information. Click on the box below.
